How to choose a veterinary doctor

If you own a pet and
love it, a veterinary doctor is a very important person for you.
When it comes to the matters of health and happiness of your pet, your vet is your adviser and a trouble shooter. Choosing a
veterinary doctor is the beginning of a long term relationship. You
will need your vet in the day-to-day routine matters like general check
up and vaccination of your pet, and you will need him in the times of
serious emergencies, for many years to come. Therefore, choose an
animal doctor as carefully as you would choose a family doctor.
There are many
factors that may be kept in mind while selecting a vet. You may
need to consider whether the location of the vet’s clinic and the
hours of working are convenient to you, whether he is available in
emergencies, whether the fees charged by him are reasonable, and most
importantly, whether you and your pet feel comfortable with him.
